The promise that guides our work

Our story

Founded in faith, grown with love

Shaaron Special School began on 26 January 1998, when Miss T. Prema, a dedicated and God-fearing teacher, opened her doors to four children in Virudhunagar District. What started as one small classroom has grown into a thriving institution serving many children with diverse abilities.

We provide specialised education, vocational training, therapy, and life-skill development so that every child can live with dignity, independence, and joy.

    Miss T. Prema begins the school with just four students and a promise: “I will not fail you nor forsake you.”

  2. Growing in love

    Year by year, family by family, those four students become a school community of more than 150 children who learn, play, and grow with us.

  3. Today

    Fifteen dedicated staff provide education, therapy, vocational training, and life skills, in a place where every child truly belongs.
